Recruiting: Dynamic Exchange in Communicating with College Athletic Coaches Monday, 19 July 2010 19:24 (Editor's Note:  The latest in Tom Kovic's ongoing series of articles on the recruiting process... just as in-gym visits begin).  Whenever I lecture on college athletics recruiting, a primary area I focus on is using “deliberate” communication with college coaches in an effort to build sincere personal relationships.  Although eligibility, financial aid and contacts and evaluations are all very important, I am convinced the area of communication is very important to the likelihood of success in the college search for athletes.
Graduation Day: Losses and Openings Monday, 07 June 2010 00:00 Across the nation, we're in the process of saying "goodbye" to our senior leaders.  On the women's side, there are some iconic names that will be missing from next year's roster.  Gymnasts like LSU's Susan Jackson have been fixtures on their teams and in the NCAA national scene for several years.  Although rosters are not finalized, here's a quick summary of the status of Top 25 teams from this past season, with their key losses summarized and highlighted. 
Final Women's National Rankings Wednesday, 28 April 2010 18:58 Now that Nationals have been completed, the Final National rankings for the women have been posted at Troester.com GymInfo.  The teams are ranked first by finish by score at Nationals (Super Six and then Preliminaries) and then by the total of the RQS and the Regional mark.  Congratulations to NCAA Champion UCLA and AA Champion Susan Jackson of LSU.
